Reverse Charges

Looks like the train driver has been implicated yet no charges laid in the Goodna incident. Maybe charges for criminal negligence or undue care and attention should be leveled at the parents.

Use the Forum

The pressure is on every Leader and bureaucrat to get a result from Copenhagen and so it should.

Whatever spin they put on it we all deserve a transparent result and be sure the sceptics who have no solutions on the table will see any agreement flawed to suit their cause

To get total agreement won’t happen this time around but this forum achieved something I have never seen in my lifetime. All leaders coming together and why cant we use this type of exercise be used to solve other issues like the use of nuclear power and WMD’s

Yes the superpowers will have to face the music and in that type of forum with nowhere to hide and it’s just as important as climate change.

F18 noise not a issue

Tuesday 15 December, 2009 - 06:16 by Foxbat in Default

When I first moved to this area in the 80’s, there was not as many houses and the first day I thought the F111’s flight path was through my lounge room.

I also remember waving at the pilot he was so low but that comes with the territory when you move to a place neighbouring a military base. That was my choice and it was there well and truly before I turned up.

So these Wally’s stating when our countries military can fly or not is a total disgrace and a embarrassment not only to Ipswich but a our nations world wide military profile.

To be honest their waling should be put on a curfew for the sake of all of us not the new equipment, and how dare they suggest a victory for suggesting the public of Amberley have a vote on our countries air defence, and I commend the OIC of the base for his patience to appease these self serving bozo’s.

Beware Beach Bozo's

Monday 14 December, 2009 - 06:48 by Foxbat in Default

I don’t know whether you’ve done any driving on the beach but I can assure you nothing is more terrifying than seeing a Tojo full of backpackers zigzagging towards you knowing the driver probably has not driven on a beach before.

They have been flipping, drowning, bogging units for years but now the engines are getting more powerful their now killing themselves.

Driving on the beach is a skill that can’t be learned over night and caution is the key word regardless of where you are, especially on Fraser Island and even the most experienced get caught.

So giving the backpackers a 4WD is totally irresponsible without a experienced driver and they may not only kill themselves but some other unsuspecting driver or family on the beach.

Dry Hiring 4WD must be only for qualified or experienced drivers, and at 18 you aint got it, and if you’re from overseas no chance full stop.

4WD licence may not be a bad idea and extend it to city driving as well and that may also take some of those Toorak tractors that never leave the road off the wanna be lard heads we have to deal with daily.

Wrong Shop Tiger

Saturday 12 December, 2009 - 06:34 by Foxbat in Default

Ok Tiger allegedly has been caught chasing skirt.

Yes his media profile is in tatters as he has been portrayed as a goody two shoes since a kid and has achieved much more than any other golfer and being black made it harder.

I can remember well blacks were not allowed on a golf course in America let alone getting into a clubhouse and god forbid putting on The Green Jacket.

Ok putting that aside he is a root rat apparently, but how do we know his predecessors were not the same?

We don’t, but never got caught either but before we all get the moral high ground ask yourself “ why would you keep all the  text and voice messages  on your phone if you weren’t going to use them for some form of blackmail up the road”?

Now it’s 2 way street and scoring Tiger Woods would get bragging rights at the girls night out wouldn’t it?

I’m still not convinced some of these women are not on the band wagon either but where’s there’s smoke anyhow I really feel sorry for his missus but being a golfer who really wants to lift his game I want what he’s on and he would have been better to going to the pro shop instead of using EBay.

Time For a Cold Shower

Thursday 10 December, 2009 - 07:21 by Foxbat in Default

It seems to me that the workers and unions who supported the election of the Labor Government have extreme difficulty in accepting the fact governments have to govern for all of Australia and not just their sectors.

Sure the Tories look after the Phillips Street and the big end of town first and believe the trickledown effect will spread the cash and Labor is supposed to support the “Bottom Up” principal but it’s still a job where hard decisions must be made for the best of all ,and may affect some sectors be it workers or business.

Looking at the present situation in Queensland with a distinct campaign against Anna Bligh it seems to me the Unions or their representatives do not have the composure to adjust and appreciate governments responsibilities and are much more comfortable having Labor in opposition.

Yes they have to look after their members and that goes without saying, but we don’t always get what we want, and they have more chance of reaching a solution with a government that is supposed be worker friendly, but I cans see history repeating as it did in previous times when Labor was in power with fragmentation.

You would have to be totally naive not to think the blue ribbon side of politics  see that fragmentation and will be a boost to them and I am sure “Hey Abbot” will make Queensland his home up until the election to boost them State and Federally.

It’s time for all to take a cold shower on the Labor side and stop and think with the extreme Right Turn  Abbot has taken that side of politics.  Then the Bligh haters must ask themselves do the rest of us Queenslanders want or deserve that super conservative style of government?

Keep going down the present track and the electors will have no choice.

Off with the Fairies AD

Wednesday 09 December, 2009 - 12:52 by Foxbat in Default

One can only shake one head in amazement at the AFL’s mouthpiece demanding FIFA to accommodate him in its bid to get the World Cup in this country.

Obviously this bloke is overcome with his own self importance and has really off with the fairies when he is dealing with a world entity and the amount of economy that comes with the worlds biggest event, bigger than the Olympics.

What administration skills or vision does this bozo have and what damage is he to our bid?

A absolute embarrassment and no wonder the game he manages rates less than competitive marbles in the world ratings and I know it popular down south but Christ netball and handball has more clout on the world stage and with this bloke in charge it will remain a fly shit in the football world.

Really his initials A.D. should be proceeded with the letters D.H. and in true Australian lingo and we may get a better picture if his true problem in more ways than one.

Abottos Brutus

It’s interesting the team Hey Abbot has put out on his shadowy front bench.

All the true non believers and doubters rewarded for their dedication to the cause.

In the present political climate one has to admire their total commitment to their beliefs as much as you have to admire Turnaround Turnbull’s ability to remind his leader his credibility gap in about everything except his dislike for women’s rights where he has always adopted the religious rights cause.

As for a debate called by some editors I would remind them you need 2 sides and to my way of thinking Abbot is only saying no without any alternate feasible solution. Yes they would not have to work at all as the copy would be just cut and paste the front pages.

What I want to know where has the McFarland supporters gone?

They have ratted on him big time and he was appointed by them to do the deal for the farmers and did, then his throat cut, and Hockey one who supported him has ratted even more.

Alas poor Cesar he was a good man, Hey Abbot !

Get Real

Monday 07 December, 2009 - 05:54 by Foxbat in Default

It was remarkable to see the reports on the by-elections of Nelson and Costello’s results.

Both blue ribbon seats yet the and the votes to them decreased yet they were hailing it was all about Hey Abbot succession to power.

It was more like Anthony Mundine in the ring with himself giving himself a uppercut and declaring he was the best fighter in the world because he got the decision.

Really now let’s get real and forget the spin.
